The Centers For Disease Control has proven itself to be generally worthless in the last twelve months when it comes to knowledge of diseases or controlling them, but they’re still regarded as a legitimate authority by millions of Americans.
When the CDC should have been studying communicable diseases, they were busy pushing the leftist agenda of whichever Democrat legislators were ensuring their funding — including $25 million dollars to study the ‘disease’ of gun violence.
But there is one tidbit of information released by the CDC in recent weeks that we don’t think the establishment Fake News media will be hyping: a recent CDC study revealed that 126 TIMES as many Americans die from falling as die from any rifle in the country.
The study, published on January 21, 2021, details a 2018 study which found that 37,455 people died from ‘unintentional falls’ in 2018 in America.
In comparison, a total of 458 people died from an “unintentional firearm usage” — meaning that unintentional falls were 82 times more likely to kill an American than ANY kind of death involving the accidental use of a gun.
Breitbart reports:
The numbers become especially pertinent to today’s political climate when FBI Unified Crime Report figures are brought into the equation. The FBI figures look at the intentional, criminal use of firearms, and show a total of 297 deaths from rifles of any kind in 2018. This means accidental death by falling occurred 126 times more often than intentional death by a rifle of any kind in 2018.
What’s more, the FBI reported in 2018 that deaths via hammers and clubs again exceeded deaths by any kinds of rifles. In 2018, 297 Americans died via a rifle, where 443 people were killed with hammers, clubs, or other “blunt objects.”
You Won’t Hear This On CNN
While the establishment media drones on and on about how awful guns are, the CDC is being funded to provide the talking heads with ‘data’ about gun violence. But when data emerges that pokes holes in their anti-gun narrative, there’s a deafening silence from the CDC and the media outlets that spread their talking points for them.
That’s because it’s not about deaths, safety, children, or anything like that. If it was, the CDC would be focusing on the risk of falling, the danger of glass tabletops and more. No, it’s about pushing their anti-gun agenda — and they can’t let a little thing like facts get in the way!
