Melrose Park IL — A suburban Chicago gun store owner has come forward with footage of murder suspect Sincere Williams allegedly breaking into his gun store. The alleged burglary happened more than 4 months before Williams eventually stabbed a drug store clerk to death on September 6th.
The gun store owner gave his security footage to police after the burglar broke into his store and stole 14 hand guns. On the footage, Williams attempted to bash out the glass front of the gun store more than 20 times before he gained entry and made off with the handguns.
This wasn’t a crime of convenience. Williams had boarded a city bus in Old Town and rode for over an hour out to the suburbs before getting off the bus and heading straight for the gun store — with the weapon he used to bash out the window in his possession.
A short time after the break-in, police arrested then 17-year-old Sincere Williams for the robbery at the Suburban Sporting Goods Guns & Ammo in Melrose Park.
Williams was charged as a juvenile and soon after that was released because he was underage at the time of the robbery. When that news reached the store owner, he was shocked.
“I was kind of enraged. It’s like, here’s this kid that broke into a gun store and stole several firearms,” the owner said. “Just because he was caught, it doesn’t lessen the severity of the crime. That’s a pretty heinous crime. These weren’t hunting guns. He wasn’t stealing to feed his family. These were likely going somewhere very bad.”
Blame The Prosecutor
But just a few short months after his 18th Birthday, Williams allegedly planned out another crime: murder.
On Sunday, September 6th, Williams allegedly stashed an extra change of clothes in a strategic location near a Walgreens in another Chicago suburb, Wicker Park.
Then he walked in the door of the drug store and stabbed clerk Olga Marie Calderon multiple times. Williams then calmly walked out the door.
He grabbed his stashed outfit and changed, then tossed his knife in some nearby bushes and headed home.
Meanwhile, the owner of the gun store lays the blame for Calderon’s murder on the officials who released Williams after he stole 14 handguns.
“[Williams] was put back out on the street so quickly…Olga Marie Calderon would be alive today had the previous crime been taken more seriously. It enraged me that a woman is now dead and all they had to do was keep this guy in custody,” the gun shop owner said. “Obviously, it could have been prevented. He was in custody in May. I’m appalled that’s how our system works.”
After the clerk’s death, news came out that in August, Williams had violated the conditions of his electronic monitoring, but instead of punishing him for it, the court ordered that his monitoring bracelet be removed entirely. The Cook County State’s Attorney didn’t object.
And so Sincere Williams apparently murdered a woman in cold blood, just for the kicks.
The Inmates Are Being Set Free On Purpose
Violent criminals belong in prison. Violent, gun-stealing criminals most certainly belong in prison. But the radical leftists think these criminals just need hugs and rainbows and free stuff and they’ll behave!
The rule of law goes out the window if the Cook County prosecutor won’t charge and prosecute criminals. And that’s exactly what Soros-funded Prosecutor Kim Foxx has done.
Suspected murderer Sincere Williams isn’t a one-off. He’s one of 25,000 violent criminals that Cook County Prosecutor Kim Foxx has dropped FELONY charges on and sent back to the streets to prey on innocent people.
They expect gun owners and taxpayers to keep obeying the laws but give a wink and a nod while they let their own off the hook. We have noticed and we won’t forget.
