Last night, in Peoria, Arizona, a 20-year-old Hispanic man recorded a SnapChat video saying, “Hello, my name is Armando Junior Hernandez and I’m gonna be the shooter of Westgate 2020.”
The chilling video included Hernandez holding up a can of beer to the camera. Seconds later in the video, Hernandez is seen with a gun in the back seat just as he says, “This is to get back at mean society. So let’s get this done, guys.”
Just moments later, Hernandez is seen on security video calmly walking across the parking lot. He entered the mall and shot three people with an AR-15. One is in critical condition, two are listed as stable.

In the most disturbing part of the video, an injured woman lies on the ground in the parking lot pleading with the shooter, who responded to her, saying: “Society is bullshit.”
The woman then says: “I have nothing to do with that. You already shot me, dude!”
Police received their first call at 7:25 pm and by the time they arrived, the shooting was over. They were able to confront Hernandez and take him into custody without any further trouble.
“When our first officers arrived on scene, there were no longer any reports of any active shooting from our dispatchers, who advised that those first officers arriving heard no further gunshots,” Officer Tiffany Ngalula of the Glendale Police Department told reporters late Wednesday night.

But as more details came out, this story didn’t fit the gun control narrative.
Hernandez is a Hispanic man. Not an angry white racist, which all gun owners are, of course!
Additionally, the Westgate Mall is a Gun Free Zone!
And even though he allegedly had an AR-15, he only shot three people! None of this fits the narrative! The left has described AR-15s as ‘weapons of war’ that are designed to kill as many people as possible in a short time. But only three people were hit, not 78? That’s not how those scary black guns work!
Already this morning, this author checked CNN.com, The New York Time online, MSNBC news and more and couldn’t find any record of this story on their homepages. They may have written articles covering it, but they are not featuring them on their front page news at all.
Let’s all just shove this shooting into the memory hole as quickly as possible because it tells a different story than the lies we’ve been spreading.
Gun owners, make sure your anti-gun friends see this story! Eventually the cognitive dissonance has to catch up to them!
