Talladega, Alabama – An 11-year-old boy fired 12 shots at a thug that clearly broke into the wrong home.
WILX reports Chris Gaither being home alone playing video games when he heard a noise and realized someone else was in the home.
The boy then grabbed his parents’ handgun and confronted the intruder.
Clearly the thug thought the gun was fake, because he started to mock and threaten 11-year-old Chris Gaither.
“When he was coming down the stairs, that’s when he told me he was going to kill me, f-you and all that,” Gaither said.
The intruder made his way out the front door with a clothing hamper in hand, and that’s when Gaither unloaded 12 shots at the man.
The 12th bullet struck the suspect in the leg, whom Gaither said, “started crying like a little baby”.
“Hope you learned your lesson coming to this house trying to steal stuff”, the 11-year-old concluded.
This is a great example of children growing up with firearms and feeling comfortable enough to arm themselves against an intruder.
Teach your kids firearm handling and safety, and maybe even how to aim!
