Louisville, Kentucky – Donald Oliver, 38, broke into a home and made a bee line for a 12-year-old girl’s bedroom wearing only his underwear.
Oliver walked into the kitchen of the house, and encountered the homeowner where he was told to get out. Oliver and the homeowner began to fight, and the homeowner was overpowered by the size of the thug.

According to the police report, “due to the suspect’s size, he began to overtake the homeowner injuring his hand.”
The homeowner then yelled for his girlfriend who brought his handgun and gave it to him.
He then shot the thug six times which caused him to run away.
In an interview with the homeowner, he said, ” I told him to get out, and he didn’t want to move, and he growled at me. He growled. So he ended up getting six shots. Period”.

It was later found out that the thug had a small bag of heroin, which could mean he was hyped up on drugs.
The thug was arrested and submitted into the local hospital with non-fatal injuries.
He’s charged with burglary, assault resulting in minor injury, and possession of a controlled substance .
Firearms are the great equalizer. Period.
For someone who is smaller or weaker, a gun is a great tool that can be used to protect oneself for a bigger individual.
There are countless of stories where a firearm was used to stop someone who was much bigger than them. This is just one of those stories.
