(Rosenberg, Texas) — When it’s time to hunt deer in Texas, it’s time to hunt deer.
At least that’s the philosophy of Jeff Pavlock, of Rosenberg, Texas.
Last week, as he prepared to go deer hunting with his 12-yr-old daughter, he didn’t mince words as to why she wasn’t going to be in class.
As he told local KPRC:
“I put down ‘headed to go put the smack down on a monster buck’ — that’s the way we do it here in Texas.”

Pavlock’s post has gone viral since he posted it last Tuesday with almost 85,000 shares and over 18,000 ‘Likes.’
“I’ve got people from Canada and people messaging me from all over the United States, so I am just living in the moment and enjoying it. I just enjoy making people laugh. My wife is laughing. My whole family is laughing. We think it’s hilarious.
I never thought in my life it would blow up on Facebook,” Pavlock said.
Pavlock said that his daughter has been with him on 9 hunts so far, and continues to wait for ‘the big one’ to come across her front sight.
