Two Suspects Invade Home, One Dies at the Scene!

(Prince George’s County, MD) – In what is being described as a targeted attack, police are confirming that two suspects entered a home in the 12600 block of Lusby Lane in a brazen middle of the day attack.

One of the residents of the home was wounded in an assault that ensued inside, before being able to shoot at the suspects, killing one and sending the other fleeing.

According to a report on WJLA.com, police are actively searching for the other suspect and are asking for the public’s help in locating him.

The injured resident sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

While the case seems cut and dry, Maryland’s notoriously bad gun laws also include their lack of a Stand-Your-Ground law and a duty to retreat.

According to WJLA.com:

“Twenty years ago when I moved here nobody knew where Brandywine was. Now we’ve got new developments, new communities, new kids and it’s growing by leaps and bounds,” Mouling said.

Mouling said he was shocked to hear someone lost their life in his neighborhood.

“I was set back when I came into my community today and saw the Prince George’s County Police officers and the tape surrounding this home it just set me back.”

Even though police aren’t releasing any names just yet, Mouling is relieved to learn it wasn’t the home’s occupant who was killed.

“They have been here for a very long time. I watched their kids grow up in that house. I’m just glad it wasn’t any of the kids.”
