(Rancho Cucamonga, California) – A criminal violently broke into this home owner’s garage just after 1:00 a.m. in a desperate attempt to steal a car.
When the home owner heard the crash in his garage, he immediately retrieved his pistol before going to investigate, concerned that it may be a robber. Getting to the garage, he saw a man trying to steal his vehicle.
When the suspect saw the home owner, he burst out of the vehicle and charged at the man with a knife — prompting the home owner to open fire in self-defense.
The suspect fled on foot and returned to his home. His mother called the 911 to report that her son had been shot. According to authorities, the suspect will face charges as soon as he’s released from the hospital.
