(Fountain Valley, CA) – As Chris Maradiaga was going to bed after a late night birthday party, he heard loud crashes around his property and found a car that had crashed into his home.
What he didn’t know at the time, was that the car was stolen and had been in a pursuit with the police until the driver lost control.
Fearing for his family as the four occupants got out of the car inside his home, Maradiaga grabbed a firearm and held the driver at gun-point until the authorities arrived.
Police arrested four Santa Ana residents at the scene ranging in age from 20 to 29, and also recovered four firearms from the suspects in addition to cocaine and meth.
Maradiaga and his wife and guests were not harmed in the incident.
