(Las Vegas, NV) – In what is being classified as the 46th homicide in the city so far this year, homicide detectives are reviewing a shooting that took place at 3655 E. Sahara Ave.
That’s where police say a man heard a ‘banging’ at his door at 1:00am, followed by a stranger who forced his way in after shattering the door jamb.

The resident shot and killed the suspect, putting an end to the home invasion.
Police stated that the resident was cooperating with authorities, who determined the suspect was trying to commit a robbery when breaking into the home.
